I don’t know about you, but I sure had a good laugh when presidential candidate Barack Obama didn’t know how to react to Russia’s invasion of Georgia and adopted the wobbly tone of moral equivalency. I’d prefer to have a President who’s too busy with the affairs of state to micromanage his wife’s finances, than an ill-prepared Senator who took a few days to figure out what was happening, once again demonstrating that he is utterly bereft of strategic vision.

With the rain coming down race 9 is now off the turf and I lost My Choo is the lone late scratch as yet. 84 % of the shwdown survivors, including myself will have to take their chances with Western Slang…

Tough beat on Adriano. I watched the race and saw Adriano get boxed in and immediately thought of the numerous entries in the showdown contest that might be eliminated. (I’ve been following your comments regarding the Saratoga Showdown and I think your analysis has been spot on. Note: I entered the contest with two entries, one of which was eliminated in the first few days) I think its unfortunate that the contest itself does not draw as much publicity and/or positive press. I look forward to your continued insights.

Hey joyce…following your insightful suggestions I cashed a substantial ticket using Loving Vindication and Rizzi’s Twist…Keep up the good
work.. I have a job that requires 10-12 hours of non-stop attention…
PLUS when I get home there is always the wife (needy and high maintenance) and the two rug rats to deal with. Very little time to seriously handicap. I usually use a service for playable angles…but…

I played just 2 tickets and went “all in” on Desert Party. The 22 percent on Desert Party does seem low but I guess maybe more people than what one might think make their picks before checking the scratches. Tim
